Let’s talk Terms and Conditions.

Your wedding day is incredibly important to me, and I am committed to providing you with the highest level of service. By confirming your booking and paying the required deposit, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Deposits & Payments

  1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. Until the deposit has been received, your wedding date will remain available to other enquiries. The deposit will be deducted from your final balance.
  2. A deposit of £60 is required to secure your wedding booking.
  3. Trial appointments must be paid for before the trial takes place. Accepted payment methods are cash or BACS transfer only.
  4. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than two weeks before your wedding day, without exception. Your £60 deposit will be deducted from the final balance.

Trial Appointments

  1. Trial appointments are scheduled for up to 3.5 hours, unless otherwise agreed. If the appointment exceeds this time, Tara Primrose reserves the right to recommend an additional trial to ensure the best possible results and to prevent fatigue for both parties.
  2. During your trial, please let Tara Primrose know if you are unsure or dissatisfied with any aspect of your chosen look. Adjustments can be made within the allocated appointment time. Clients are encouraged to make full use of their initial trial, as any additional trials will incur an additional charge.
  3. Please ensure that both the trial location and the wedding venue provide a safe and suitable working environment, including adequate lighting and access to electrical outlets.
  4. To carry out services efficiently, Tara Primrose requires, as a minimum, a table, chair, and access to sufficient natural or artificial lighting.
  5. For safety reasons, please avoid holding children whilst having your hair or makeup completed. Children should be kept away from all styling tools and professional products at all times. Styling tools operate at high temperatures, and Tara Primrose cannot accept responsibility for injuries sustained by children or adults resulting from contact with these tools.

Travel Expenses

  1. Mobile services are available to suit your needs. Travel is charged at 50p per mile, calculated for both the outward and return journey to trial locations and wedding venues.
  2. Free parking must be available at both trial and wedding locations unless otherwise agreed.
  3. For destination weddings, the client is responsible for all travel expenses, including flights, transport to and from the airport, airport parking, and any necessary taxis or transfers at the destination.
  4. For weddings abroad, or where applicable within the UK, the client is required to provide accommodation equivalent to a 3-star hotel or above for the artist to ensure adequate rest before the wedding day.
  5. If a flight is cancelled and Tara Primrose is unable to attend your booking, your final balance will be refunded. Tara Primrose cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond her reasonable control.

Changes or Cancellation by the Client

  1. Tara Primrose will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes to your booking. Requests to add additional services or people can only be accepted where time and availability permit. Additional services must be agreed and paid for in advance.
  2. If you wish to reduce the number of services or people booked, a minimum of one calendar month’s notice is required. After this time, the full cost of any cancelled services will remain payable by the agreed due date.
  3. The bride is responsible for ensuring all payments relating to the booking are made.
  4. Should you need to cancel your booking entirely, a minimum of two months’ notice is required. Cancellations made after this period will remain fully payable by the agreed due date, and no refunds will be issued.
  5. Deposits and payments made for trial appointments are non-refundable.
  6. If payment is not received by the agreed due date, Tara Primrose reserves the right to take appropriate legal action to recover any outstanding balance and associated costs.

Changes or Cancellation by Tara Primrose

  1. In the unlikely event that Tara Primrose is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement artist.
  2. Where an assisting artist has been booked for a larger bridal party and becomes unavailable, an earlier start time may be required to accommodate all services. Where this is not possible, affected services will be refunded either in part or in full.
  3. Tara Primrose and any assisting artists reserve the right to terminate services immediately, without refund, if they are subjected to abusive, threatening, violent, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour.
  4. In the event of extreme weather where the Met Office has issued a Red Weather Warning, alternative arrangements or cancellation may need to be discussed. As a gesture of goodwill, refunds will be issued excluding the non-refundable deposit.

Delays on the Wedding Day

  1. If delays occur due to circumstances outside of Tara Primrose’s control, including clients arriving late, not being ready, or failing to provide the necessary working conditions, refunds or compensation will not be offered. If services cannot be completed as a result of these delays, the affected services will remain chargeable.
  2. If you are aware of any circumstances that may delay or affect travel to your venue, please notify Tara Primrose as soon as possible so appropriate allowances can be made.
  3. Refunds or compensation cannot be provided for delays caused by other wedding suppliers, guests, or members of the bridal party.
  4. If you believe a member of your bridal party may require additional time or present challenges on the wedding morning, it is strongly recommended that they attend a trial appointment beforehand.
  5. Tara Primrose always aims to arrive on time. However, should delays or non-attendance occur due to exceptional circumstances beyond her control, including severe traffic, bereavement, or serious illness, any services that cannot be provided will be refunded.

Insurance

  1. Tara Primrose and all assisting artists hold full Public Liability Insurance for the protection of both the client and the artists.

Products, Allergies & Sensitivities

  1. Tara Primrose cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or medical conditions resulting from the use of professional hair or makeup products.
  2. Clients are responsible for informing Tara Primrose of any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or relevant medical conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before, during, and after the trial should any reactions or concerns arise.

Photography & Copyright

Photographs of completed hair and makeup are invaluable for updating my professional portfolio, website, and social media platforms. Please let me know before your wedding day if you do not wish to be photographed or if you do not consent to your images being used for marketing purposes.

I am also happy to be photographed whilst working on your wedding morning. If photographs featuring Tara Primrose, one of my assistants, or showcasing our hair and/or makeup work are shared on social media or used for promotional purposes, I kindly ask that appropriate credit is given by tagging or mentioning Tara Primrose as your hair and/or makeup artist.
